What is Aerogel Powder?Gas gel can be obtained by changing the amount of hydrogel (wet-gel) within the gel without changing its volume. KNFW silicone powder is an adsorbent material of low density and low heat rate. It is high in purity and has a high surface activity. This material has been used as a construction insulation and industrial insulation.

Aerogel powder characteristics
The density is just 3.55 kg/m3, only 2.75 more than the density of air. Dried pine, at 500 kg/m3, is about 140 times heavier. It looks like smoke solidified, but it is composed of glass. This substance is perfect for aerospace because it has a very low density. NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (a new aerogel created by Dr. Jones) is composed mainly of pure silica. The liquid silicone compound is mixed quickly with the liquid liquid solvent to create a gel. The gel is then dried in a device similar to a digester under pressure, and, after heating and depressurization a sponge-like structure is created. Dr. Jones' final Aerogel contained 99.8% of air.

Aerogel powder: preparation method
Aerogel was initially called S. Kistler. Aerogel is defined by S. Kistler as the material obtained from supercritical drying wet Gel. Aerogel was defined as a material that is obtained when the liquid in a wet gel has been replaced by gas. Aerogel's main structural characteristic is its cylinder multi-branched three-position nano porous network structure. This structure has high permeability, porosity, low densities, a high specific surface, and an ultra-high pore-volume ratio. Its bulk density can range from 0.003-0.500g/cm-3. (The density is 0.00129g/cm-3).
