Iron Copper FeCu Powder is an excellent combination of both copper and iron. D50 =10.0-18.3 Particle Size

On Pre-alloyed Iron Copper Iron Powder:
A type of alloy that includes copper-iron alloys is also available. Fe-Cu powder offers excellent thermal conductivity as well as electrical conductivity. This powder combines both the benefits of copper and iron. This alloy has copper as the major element, with iron added. Ferroalloy is an alloy in which copper is the main element and iron is added. You can add a few drops of rare earth to make a copper-iron mixture. The copper and iron melt at the same temperature, approximately 1,200°C, which makes them completely compatible.
Some pure metals possess unique properties we require for certain purposes. This is the case with copper. It has excellent resistance to corrosion in harsh environments. Because it is used in electrical and electronic wiring, copper has excellent thermal and electrical conductivity. Softness and ductility are other properties of copper.
But, the negative properties of pure metals will also ruin your application. The copper metal is extremely weak. While work hardening is an option to improve the strength of copper, adding other metals to it can make it more robust, like iron.
Similar to copper, iron can be malleable. Iron is also very electrically conductive and has good tensile strength, as it can be stretched to a certain extent without breaking. But iron can corrode because it oxidizes in the presence water and oxygen to make rust.
Sometimes adding iron to copper alloys is a good idea. Iron can be added to copper alloys for its increased strength and resistance against corrosion, but it does not affect the copper alloy's original electrical conductivity.
Copper – iron alloy: This master alloy of copper - iron (CuFe), has high tensile strengths, high corrosion resistance and high thermal & electrical conductivity. The master alloy acts as a refiner for other copper alloys, such as brass and aluminum bronze. The master alloy helps improve low-alloy copper's mechanical properties.
Low copper alloys can easily be transformed into high copper alloys by adding iron and other metals. They have an extremely high strength and conductivity of 75-90 percent. Iron Copper FeCu Powder Information:

Preparation High surface area, low activity, low temperature of sintering, high density, high hardness, sintered (maximum 102HRB), good sintering stability and bending strength to up to 1534 Mpa. Good flowability.

How Is pre-alloyed iron copper FeCu powder manufactured?
The maximum compaction rate is achieved when the copper powder's mass is 7.44% and the sintering temperatures are higher than the copper melting point. If (Fe-3.44mg%Cu) prealloyed iron powder mixed with copper powder has a higher expansion rate than the latter, when 4.00mg % copper powder is added to the mix, it will shrink the sample. However, compaction of copper powder and (Fe-7.18%Cu] iron alloy powder shrinks when added copper powder. In all sintered billets, the penetration of liquid copper in the space between solid grain was evident. Increased copper content results in an increase in copper expansion.

-
A copper-iron intermediate alloy is used to refine the grain of aluminum bronze and brass alloys. This can be used to increase the mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and strength of low-alloy copper.
There are limited procedures that can be used to cause the mutual diffusion of FeCu elements within alloys. High-energy ball milling is used to make FeCu material and sometimes simultaneously to deposit it on thin substrates for different purposes. This research focuses on this work. This is a method of producing alloys that does not require the use grinding balls. It occurs in the same crucible. Two parameters control thickness and microstructure in the deposition layer: speed and milling time. This process can generally be applied in many ways to increase the mechanical, optical and thermal properties, as well as the surface quality.

Iron Copper FeCu Pulp Storage:
FeCu powder performance and usage effects can be adversely affected by damp reunion. Iron Copper FeCu Powder should therefore be stored in vacuum-packed bags and kept in cool, dry rooms. Iron Copper FeCu Powder cannot be exposed to the air. FeCu powder should not be exposed to stress.

Shipping and Packing of Iron Copper FeCu powder:
We offer many packing options that are dependent on how large the Iron Copper FeCu powder is.
Packaging of iron copper FeCu powder, vacuum packed, 100g to 500g, or 1kg/bag at 25kg/barrel. Or as you request.
Iron Copper FeCu powder shipping: can be sent by sea or air as soon as payment receipt is received.
