How is Tungsten Oxide WO3 Powder produced?
Tungsten trioxide is prepared in many different ways. The CaWO4 (or Scheelite) can react with HCl in order to make tungstic acid. It then decomposes at high temperatures to WO3 or water.

An alternative method of synthesizing WO3 in common is to calcinate ammonium para-tungstate under oxidizing conditions.
