. It's part of the Transition-Metal Dihalides. This rare form of tungsten is called the "Trend-Metal Dihalides". This material is part of certain catalysts used for hydrodesulfurization and hydrodenitrogenation.
WS2 tungsten disulfide

It can be caused only by oxygen and water. This reaction results in tungsten oxide and sulfuric acids. Similar results have been obtained with semiconductor transitional metal dihalides, (e.g. These dihalides were exposed to ambient light as well as MoS2. The attack on WS2 can also be done by combining hydrofluoric with nitric acids. In oxygen rich areas, WS2 may turn to tungsten dioxide if heated. However, when heated, WS2 doesn't melt. Instead it will become tungsten oxide. The melting temperature for WS2 will reach 1250oC
By chemical exfoliation, monolayers can be removed from WS2. It involves placing lithium in Hexane then using ultrasonics for the creation of Li compounds. There are many ways to eliminate WS2, including chlorosulfonic and lithium halide.

1. Roasting decomposition method:
For 3 hours, mix the mixture. The mixture should remain at 57-60C. For 16 hours, let the mixture sit at room temp. When hydrogen sulfuride gas reacts ammonium with ammonium, it forms ammonium-tungstate. Ammonium Tetrathiotungstate results. Ammonium Tetrathiotungstate is heatable to make tungstenoxide.

2. Tungsten is inert to liquid sulfur. You can make WS2 by changing the sulfur-vapor color to red hot. Combining sulfur and tungsten can produce WS2. Orthorhombic compounds may be created by reacting between 600pa and 1600pa.
3. By heating the ammonium-tetrathiotungstate and decomposing it, under the condition that the air is isolated, the temperature increases from room to 700 to 1200. Before the temperature can drop, it must be at room temperature for at most 24 hours. The temperature will fall to the ambient temperature after that at a rate of 30-110degC/hour. When it has been kept at room temperature between 24 and 48 hours, the temperature drops to 30-110degC/hour.
It is possible to produce extremely fine and ultrafine tungsten oxide. It is safe for the environment.
