AEG Alkyl-ethoxy polyglycosides Product Performance:

AEG has a molecular shape that is similar to adding a polyoxyethylene link between the alkane hydrophobic group and hydrophilic sugar rings of APG. This is similar to structural changes between sodium alkylsulfate AS(K12), and sodium alcoholether sulfate AES. AEG offers better water solubility and mild compatibility than APG. Low surface tension. Strong detergent, alkali resistant. The formulation system can maintain foam stability with good viscosity. Easy to biodegrade.

Applications AEG Alkyl Ethoxy Polyglycosides :

AEG, APG & fatty alcohol ether (non-ionic) surfactants offer improved alternatives. Especially its mild performance and viscous emulsions. AEG can be used as a skin moisturizing agent and as a wash ingredient. The foam formula is smooth and gentle, which is a contrast to the sticky and slippery feel of a regular hand sanitizer. Blow-dried skin is moist and comfortable. AEG+AEC can be combined to create a slightly acidic or non-acid formula that relies on effective cleaning to create brighter clothes. Concentration formula can produce A class laundry detergents. AEG formula bath lotion has excellent performance in viscosity. It is easy to flush and does not differ in foaming rate, amount of foam, fineness or other skin sensations. AEG and APG were used to replace 3% AES active substances in formulas containing AES and amine oxide. The formula has a reduced skin irritation level.
AEG foams well and has excellent rheological characteristics. The viscosity of AEG is not affected by temperature changes. Alkyl Ethoxy Polyglycosides are 1.8x more effective than TX-10 at benzene, and have potential as an emulsifier for pesticides based on water.
